Yes. If you wear glasses, you can make the helmet more comfortable by loosening the side knobs by hand and gently sliding the visor forward. This will create more space between the glasses and the visor. Once the helmet is on, slide the visor back until it is close to the lenses. Then, gently tighten the knobs to secure the visor in place.
If you have the version with inserts and support for prescription lenses, the support can be configured by your trusted optician with prescription lenses and then installed in the appropriate inserts.
For more information see the manual.
The system locks after 10 minutes of non-use and to unlock it you must place the NFC badge near the symbol on the front of the helmet. The lock function can be deactivated from the console menu. To deactivate it you need to have the badge.
For more information, see the manual.
The device is provided pre-calibrated for the end user.
Here are some tips for first use:
Remove the Headset, Console, and power adapter from the packaging.
Remove the internal and external protective covers from the headset lenses, the protective covers from the visor, and the protective covers from the two cameras and LED lights.
Attach the Console to your belt using the dedicated loops, or use it as a shoulder strap. Ensure that the Headset cable is free and not tangled at the back of the Headset.
Take the NFC badge included in the package. The badge serves to enable the system's functionality; it is your unlock key. Keep the badge near the symbol located on the front of the console. After preparing your Orisview system for use, it's time to power it on and configure it.
For further information, refer to the manual.
Before wearing the helmet, ensure that the appropriate pads for the head size are installed on the shell (4 sets of pads in sizes S, M, L, and XL are provided). Attach the pads to the shell using the dedicated Velcro supports. Put on the helmet with both hands, taking care not to touch the lenses or visor. Secure the helmet to your head by rotating the knob on the back of the shell.
Remove any hair or head accessories (such as headbands or elastics) that might prevent the helmet from fitting snugly around your head.
For more information, please refer to the manual.
The control console must be installed on a belt or shoulder strap (accessories are included in the package). The console must be positioned with the side with the screen and joystick facing outwards. Make sure it is securely fastened.
For more information, see the manual.
Depending on the lighting conditions in the room, it may be necessary to install the dimmer. Two types of dimmer are available depending on the configuration: one with fixed dimming and one with electronically controllable dimming. The electronically controllable dimmer offers 4 levels of transparency, ranging from 25% to 85% semi-transparency.
For more information, please refer to the manual.
The dimmer attaches to the magnetic parts of the headset by pushing it all the way to the end. You will hear a click when the dimmer is securely attached. The magnetic connectors are equipped with digital contacts for the operation of the electronic dimmer.
The dimmer should be removed carefully by holding it at the center and pulling gently without applying excessive force. The magnetic attachment requires only a small initial effort to detach.
For more information, please refer to the manual.
